Our product philosophy has kept us ahead of our competition. In the early 90s, we saw an opportunity to create and market a unique, combined phone and voice mail system — IVX — while our competitors were offering voice mail as a separate and expensive add-on. In fact, almost a decade later, nobody in the industry has been able to match the powerful feature set and affordability of ESI products.
We were one of the first companies in our industry to adopt Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) in our designs — and one of the few companies to make the investment to actually create our own DSP algorithms, rather than purchase those readily available. This gives ESI total freedom of design. As a result, we create systems that do more, cost less and are easier to install, maintain and update than those of our competitors.
Our ongoing commitment to the use of proprietary DSPs has also given us the ability to hone a feature set that is unique and more advanced than any other in our industry. We offer all the features that our competitors do; but we’ve been able to include these features as standard — rather than as options — and we’ve designed them to be more powerful than what our competition offers. An example is our patented use of Caller ID: not only do you get a name and number of who calls but, if you get a voice mail message, you can return your call with one touch, and store the information into Esi-Dex™ so that you can automatically speed-dial to return the call, or forward the message with the Caller ID information attached. Additionally, you can find out who called and didn’t bother to leave a message!

In recent years, we’ve focused our creative talent on maximizing the new VoIP technology to bring you even more advanced capabilities. Our IP Series phone systems allow you to place fully functional Remote Phones anywhere you have a high-speed data line, like DSL. You can now have an “office phone” on your desk at home or “office workers” in remote locations across the city or across the country. VoIP also allows us to seamlessly connect together systems in different offices via data WAN — and we’ve added these capabilities to our IVX Series so that you can benefit from VoIP with any of our phone system product lines.
